Do you think Dandelions would make a nice floral arrangement?

I have access to thousands of them right now.

Do you think Dandelions would make a nice floral arrangement?
hmmmmm......

instead of a %26quot;dandy%26quot; lion I%26#039;m thinking you should go with a %26quot;stellar%26quot; snapdragon.
Reply:Well Dandelions and a few more colors added in.

Add some Babies Breath to make the colors really stand out.
Reply:Dandelions are pretty, but they wilt pretty fast.
Reply:They could
Reply:Yes, they would look great, if you can figure out a way to keep them from wilting.
Reply:they%26#039;re ok.....i would prefer lavenders and jasmines....they%26#039;re pretty and have a sweet, spicy fragrance
Reply:Dandelions are lovely. When they wilt, you can just pick more.
Reply:yeah they would make one for me ok
Reply:I do.. I think they are beautiful.
Reply:well dandelions are pretty cheap, but u could add them to roses or something and it may look good.
Reply:it would take an awful %26quot;non-picky%26quot; recipient not to throw them in your face.
Reply:They make an even better salad. Strangely enough, young dandelion leaves have a mild delicate flavor and can be used in salads. My grandfather used to make dandelion wine. That must have taken a lot of patience and dandelions. As for a floral arrangement, I think it would be a little monochromatic.
Reply:Yes I love dandelions.Just make sure you immerse them in water as your cutting them to keep them fresh and to get rid of any little bugs that might be on them.
Reply:Unfortunately, once they are picked, they die very quickly!
Reply:Sure. And with having so many you will be able to make up several.
Reply:It%26#039;s the thought that counts. I%26#039;d be excited to get them.
Reply:yes, and you can use the leaves for a dandelion salad. Did you know that?
Reply:Find some little purple flowers to contrast with the yellow and put them in a pretty vase.
Reply:no way! they are weeds for crying out loud. What is wrong with you girls?
Reply:I love dandelions, but the don%26#039;t vase up well. Or at least not that I%26#039;ve seen.

You could always use the greens in salads.
Reply:During the turn of the century dandelions and clover were often used in wedding bouquets....
Reply:when I was a little girl I used to pick wildflowers and give them to my neighbors.

A lady on my street had beautiful gardens, and one day I picked a bouquet of dandelions for her. My mother asked me what I was doing and I told her my plans.

She told me that dandelions are weeds and made me toss them.

That day I decided that dandelions, though technically weeds, were still attractive in a bouquet.

I also decided not to live my life in fear of criticism by the experts (be it gardening or whatever), because if the experts say that dandelions are weeds, then they don%26#039;t have the common sense of a child!
Reply:For only a few minutes, then they keel over.
Reply:no get roses or orchids. every women loves orchids especially purple.
Reply:make sure that if you are going to give them to anybody, that they aren%26#039;t allergic to them. They have a high count of pollen. I know some who goes crazy just being around them !!
Reply:I actually love dandelions - especially this time of year when its one of the first things that%26#039;s green and flowering! I say go for it - but they do wilt fast :-(
Reply:Yes and if I remember a festival in Dover OH. Is held yearly. They are editable if Iam not mistaken. But please look it up to make sure.
Reply:%26#039;pends
Reply:yes, but you can%26#039;t keep a dandelion from wilting.I remember trying everything when I was little.
Reply:its the thought that count and if a person really likes u they should accept it because it%26#039;s the love and the thought that counts
Reply:no but a fine wine
